About Affiliated Clinical Services Inc
Affiliated Clinical Services in West Bend, Oregon, provides treatment for individuals recovering from addiction. Clients can receive services such as medication assisted treatment (MAT) and intensive outpatient care within 36 hours after their assessments. The facility doesn’t accept Medicare or Medicaid.
Proven Medications to Substance Use Disorder
Medications available in their MAT are Suboxone and naltrexone. Suboxone is used to help individuals struggling with severe opiate use dependency. The medicine will allow you to discontinue opiate use by minimizing your withdrawal symptoms.
You’ll take naloxone along with Suboxone in order to avoid misuse. Naltrexone may be used to treat opioid use disorder and alcohol use disorder. The staff may administer this medication to you in a pill form or an injectable extended release form. The pill form would be taken daily, while the injectable release form would be taken once a month.
Clients will need to have abstained from opioid use for a minimum of 7-10 days before starting naltrexone to minimize the risk of precipitated withdrawal. You’ll be required to participate in counseling while you’re taking either of these medications. You’ll meet with a licensed alcohol and drug counselor to identify your triggers and come up with relapse prevention strategies.
Encouraging Family Involvement with Recovery
The facility encourages family and significant others to become involved with your treatment as long as that’s okay with you. They can receive education about addiction through family therapy days and learn how to best support you in your recovery. One reviewer of this location appreciated that the counselors were very professional and caring.
