Apricity Residential Treatment — Mooring House — Men’s Residential Treatment
About Apricity Residential Treatment — Mooring House — Men’s Residential Treatment
Apricity is an addiction and mental health treatment organization with several treatment locations, including Mooring House, a men’s residential treatment facility. The organization’s programs have been accredited by The Joint Commission. The residential facility has room for 19 men, and staff are onsite 24/7. Mooring House is located in Appleton, Wisconsin.
The program doesn’t include detox, but the staff can refer you to a detox center before you enter the program. Never attempt detoxing on your own, since it can be dangerous. Instead, you’ll attend group sessions throughout the day, with lunch and dinner included. You may do chores, treatment assignments and correspond with loved ones.
The facility is in downtown Appleton and is close to the shores of Lake Winnebago. The organization accepts insurance from most providers and networks with county and state funding programs.
Caring and Knowledgeable Staff
Many previous clients have mentioned the knowledgeable and caring staff who support the clients with respect and dignity. Program alumni often note the sense of strong community support and the life-changing experiences they had. Families of program alumni have expressed their appreciation for the clear communication provided by the staff as well as their involvement.
A Homelike Setting for Addiction Recovery
The setting is homelike with single bedrooms, an onsite laundry facility and a full kitchen with snacks and all meals provided. There’s a game room and spacious meeting rooms.
Clients receive assistance with employment, sober, and transitional living. Most clients stay between 30-90 days as they learn to reintegrate into their community.
