Avenues Recovery Center at Louisiana
About Avenues Recovery Center at Louisiana
Avenues is an addiction recovery organization with 15 treatment facilities across the nation, including the facility in Metairie, Louisiana. The Metairie facility offers inpatient alcohol and drug detoxification, 24/7 medical care, and addiction treatment. Additionally, they treat co-occurring mental health disorders.
The outpatient office is located just off I-10. Individuals stay in the 10 converted townhomes encircling the facility in a residential neighborhood. Clients may pay for treatment with most major medical insurance, including TRICARE and Medicaid. There are also self pay options available.
Addiction Treatment in a Modern Setting
The converted townhomes offer home-like and comfortable living spaces. Clients stay in semi private rooms with communal living rooms and kitchens.
There’s on site laundry, a pickleball court, and a swimming pool. You’ll eat delicious and nutritious meals prepared by a culinary staff.
Clients have time to socialize and relax when not in a treatment session. You’ll have access to a workforce re-entry program, 12 Step meetings, and individual and family therapy. Family counseling is available, too. There are fun and exciting outings and weekend activities.
Holistic Arts Rehab Track
This center offers a unique holistic arts rehab track. This track focuses on treating individuals holistically by addressing the body, mind, and soul.
Holistic therapies include yoga, acupuncture, nutrition therapy, meditation, fitness therapy, and art therapy. Additionally, they offer equine therapy, where clients work with horses to reduce anxiety, stress, and loneliness.
Benefiting From Local Resources
The residential townhomes enjoy proximity to vibrant cultural areas, museums, and galleries. There are parks and green spaces where you can benefit from the healing aspects of nature.
You’ll have easy access to community resources, including support groups and recovery meetings, with local transportation provided while you’re in the treatment program. This is a comprehensive residential addiction and mental health treatment program.
