I like that the facility is located in the countryside on 33 acres. Men and women are provided with a serene retreat to overcome their addiction. Your individualized recovery plan is going to address the symptoms and underlying causes of addiction. Although everyone will have their own custom recovery plan, they all blend evidence based methods with experiential therapies.
Before you begin inpatient residential treatment, you will start with a medically monitored detox. During this time you will have round the clock support and supervision. In order to achieve recovery, you will be able to address both the emotional and physical aspects of withdrawal. Medication assisted treatment (MAT) is available to help ease your withdrawal symptoms. With your withdrawal symptoms at ease, you’ll be able to focus on your recovery and treatment.
Once you complete your detox portion of treatment, you will continue your care in the residential program. They have a 36 bed facility that offers the most intensive form of treatment. I also like that you will have access to the staff both during the day and the night. Another thing I like is that they use a gender specific approach. This helps tailor the care to help address underlying trauma that is associated with substance use.
Your treatment plan may include a blend of specialized programming. Aside from individual and group therapy, they offer art therapy and family therapy. They also offer adventure and wilderness therapy. If you would like to incorporate spiritual healing into your treatment plan then a Faith in Recovery program is available. A science based program is also offered. It’s called SMART recovery and focuses on self management and self empowerment to overcome addiction.
