Innovative Addiction Treatment Approach in Joliet
The treatment center is only a few miles from downtown Joliet, a lively and charming area with locally owned shops, theaters, and art galleries. Pilcher Park Nature Center is less than seven miles from the center. There you’ll find extensive hiking and biking trails where you can spend time in nature and reflect on your new sober life.
The clinic has an innovative integrated model of treatment. They offer primary care health services with substance use treatment. This is a holistic approach that allows the treatment team to simultaneously treat co-occurring mental and physical issues.
Many clients with substance use issues also have pain. Pain can be a huge contributing factor in substance use and misuse. At this facility, clients can be seen by a regular medical provider to help them find better ways of dealing with pain and other medical issues.
Walk In Addiction Treatment Services
Clients can take advantage of the walk-in services without needing a pre-scheduled appointment. There are also telehealth support and counseling services available for those who have a hard time getting to appointments. If you need a ride, they offer transportation support, including bus passes, partnerships with transportation providers, and Uber Health rides.
Special services are available for adolescents ages 12-18. They’ll receive a thorough assessment, group and individual counseling, and toxicology services.
If you need court mandated treatment, you can find those programs here. Additionally, the team offers services in both English and Spanish. All clients receive comprehensive substance misuse treatment that includes therapy.
