About Glenbrook Hospital

While Glenbrook doesn’t have a substance use disorder treatment service at its location, they do have a fully staffed emergency department that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Available healthcare professionals can provide medical stabilization interventions should you present with a substance use or mental health crisis.

Emergencies & Referrals

The hospital has an inpatient and outpatient pharmacy that accepts most insurance plans. This not only allows you to receive FDA cleared medications while in the emergency room, but also to access prescriptions before leaving the hospital. Specialized care is available at the OARS clinic as well, including Suboxone and Brixadi.

Spiritual Care & Physical Stabilization

Spiritual care and a chaplain are also available during a time of crisis, which can play a major role in helping you through challenges associated with a substance use or mental health crisis.

They have language interpreters, including sign language. Phone based interpretation is available for hundreds of languages.

In addition to providing stabilization, they can also address other physical conditions you may have at the time of your admission to the emergency room, including challenges with your cardiovascular or neurological systems, which can occur during an overdose or in unattended withdrawal. The hospital works with most major health insurance providers in the state, accepting Medicare and Medicaid.
