About The House of Time

The House of T.I.M.E. (This I Must Earn) is located in Columbus, Georgia. They provide transitional and supportive housing for homeless women and children. They specialize in working with women who have a history of substance abuse, addiction and mental illness.

They provide a structured environment to help women heal and gain independence. Former residents commend the center for the compassionate staff members and for helping them stay sober after completing a program.

Transitional Housing

In the transitional housing program women can stay up to twenty four months, focusing on recovering from addiction, abuse, or lack of education and health care. They work to develop life skills, offer nutrition education, parenting classes, relapse prevention and relationship building.

The program is equally supportive of every individual’s unique situation while working to hold residents accountable.

Homeless to a Home

Homeless women can rediscover faith and hope while receiving comprehensive services to address medical and mental health needs, substance abuse recovery, employment training, money management, case management and transportation. Clients either work or volunteer and live in apartments within the community.
