Treatment often begins with residential detox or an assessment, followed by a twenty eight day inpatient program in gender separated facilities with forty one beds. Clients receive individual and group counseling, weekly family sessions and education on relapse prevention, coping skills and life skills development.
JACOA’s intensive outpatient program meets four days per week for eight weeks, allowing clients to step down from residential care or receive structured support while living at home.
Medication assisted treatment with Vivitrol is available for opioid addiction. The co-occurring disorders program addresses mental health conditions and substance use with cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and trauma informed care.
