About Oneida Nation of Wisconsin Behavioral Health Services

The Oneida Nation of Wisconsin has a behavioral health clinic in Green Bay that provides a wide variety of mental health and substance use treatment, including medication assisted treatment (MAT). It’s not too far from the He-Nis-Ra Trails.

They have a Hub and Spoke model where this clinic is the Hub and can provide referrals to other providers depending on client needs. The clinic accepts Medicaid and may also accept other insurance coverage.

Same Day Substance Use Treatment in Green Bay

One thing that stood out about this program is they offer same day treatment if you arrive between 8 am and 10am, Monday through Friday. They have first-come-first-serve treatment.

They provide immediate assessments and counseling, and they can provide Narcan as well. Narcan can reverse opioid overdose and save lives when it’s followed up with medical care. You can also get test strips for fentanyl and xylazine to help you avoid taking substances that contain these potentially lethal chemicals.

A Variety of Outpatient Treatment Programs For Substance Use

Another unique aspect of the Oneida Nation center is that they have multiple outpatient programs, each focusing on different things. There’s an Insights Group to provide education on addiction and recovery for eight weeks.

They also have a group focused on dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) that meets two hours per week for 12 weeks. This group helps you build important life skills so you can create a life you love.

There’s also an intensive outpatient program (IOP) and another group that’s focused on aftercare. With all these options, the clinic aims to ensure you have a program that meets your needs.
