Otis R Bowen Center for Allen County (now Bowen Health) is a nonprofit addiction treatment and mental health provider in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The center offers outpatient treatment, intensive outpatient programs, inpatient care, hospital detoxification, and 24 hour crisis intervention services.
The center accepts Medicaid, Medicare, private insurance, TRICARE, and self-pay, with sliding fee scales based on family size and income. No one is denied services based on inability to pay.
Hospital Detox and Medication Assisted Treatment
The center provides outpatient and intensive outpatient programs with flexible evening and weekend hours, hospital detoxification for alcohol and substance use, and inpatient treatment for co-occurring mental health and addiction disorders.
Medication assisted treatment includes buprenorphine, Suboxone, naltrexone, and methadone paired with evidence based therapies like CBT, DBT, group counseling, and relapse prevention.
Treatment for Alternative Conditions
Services are available for children, adolescents, and adults. The center specializes in dual diagnosis care for co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, trauma, serious mental illness, eating disorders, gambling disorder, and court referred clients.
Bowen Center’s Allen County office is open Monday through Thursday 8am to 7pm and Friday 8am to 5pm. The facility is wheelchair accessible and offers telehealth services in addition to in-person appointments.
