About Stonington Institute

Stonington Institute is an addiction treatment center in North Stonington, Connecticut, offering medically supervised detox.

The program serves adults through a continuum that includes detox, PHP, IOP and sober living support.

Treatment is grounded in a holistic, 12 step informed approach that addresses body, mind and spirit.

Medically Monitored Detox

Care often begins with medically monitored detoxification on the 26 acre North Stonington campus.

Clients can then step down into day treatment through Trails Corner Recovery Center in Groton.

Clients can expect individual, group, and family therapy along with CBT, EMDR and art, music and yoga.

Medication assisted treatment with Suboxone or Vivitrol, dual diagnosis support and relapse prevention are also available.
