About Windows Of Opportunity Inc. – Food Distribution Center
Windows of Opportunity Food Distribution Center is located on the corner of South Des Plaines Street and West Jackson in Chicago. Situated just north of the 110 and east of I-90, they provide outpatient addiction treatment only.
Methadone Maintenance Treatment
Their care includes substance abuse treatment and methadone maintenance without offering special outpatient groups or programs. They do offer detoxification for alcohol and drugs, using a level of medical oversight that is appropriate to your situation.
When you require more care than is available, they can refer you to local detox centers to meet your needs. People involved with the criminal justice system are accepted into the program as they meet several criteria for court ordered addiction treatment.
Case Management and Counseling
Located on the first floor of their building, medication assisted treatment (MAT) using methadone is offered during rehab and is a core component of their program. Methadone reduces the risk of relapse with opioid use.
They offer case management and counseling, especially if you have a dual diagnosis. Case management helps connect you with community resources to help support your recovery.
Self pay is available.
