Eau Claire Comprehensive Treatment Center
About Eau Claire Comprehensive Treatment Center
Eau Claire Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) helps adults and seniors who struggle with opioid and prescription medication misuse. They provide medication assisted treatment (MAT) in an outpatient setting in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Acadia’s CTC is a large network of opioid treatment facilities with locations across the country.
As a SAMHSA certified facility, they accept Medicare, Medicaid and other state funded plans, as well as private insurance plans. They offer self payment options if you don’t have insurance coverage. During intake, they’ll verify what your insurance covers and walk you through financial details.
MAT for Opioid Use Disorder
They use methadone, buprenorphine, naltrexone and Suboxone here in combination with counseling and education. When you start, you’ll need to visit CTC every day to receive your daily medication. After some time has passed and your recovery is progressing, they’ll give you limited take home doses so you can more easily maintain your daily routines.
How long you participate in this program is different for everyone. Your personal recovery journey determines whether you’ll transition off medication quickly or continue treatment for an extended period.
Clients Value Structure and Support
Clients here describe caring counselors, a safe environment and treatment plans that help them stay on track. A few mention strict program rules, but most agree that the structure and accountability helps them stay sober longer than they could have on their own. One client commented, “Without being able to do treatment along with Methadone, I would not have stayed sober, or even gotten sober.”
Oak Hills Parkway Spaces Support Wellness
This treatment center is surrounded by serene nature and locales for healthy recreation. Carson Park sits on a nearby peninsula with walking trails, picnic areas and peaceful green spaces that can support recovery. The Chippewa River State Trail follows the Chippewa River through both urban and rural areas and is perfect for biking or hiking, offering folks a chance to stay active and clear their minds. I like The Sculpture Tour Eau Claire, which is an outdoor exhibit showcasing 53 sculptures around downtown.
