A Detox Center on Florida’s Gulf Coast
If you’re in need of detox services, the team can easily refer you to another ACTS location on 50th Street, just a 25-minute drive away.
Detox there is medically supervised and offered on an outpatient basis. In this way, you don’t have to take time out to stay at a residential facility, making this an extremely flexible option. The approach is ideal for anyone experiencing mild to moderate withdrawal symptoms, or individuals with a strong and reliable support system to keep them in check. Expect up to 4 hours of daily structured activities.
Medication assisted treatment (MAT) is also available as part of the detox phase and beyond. Many individuals continue with MAT throughout their recovery to help them manage withdrawal symptoms and reduce their risk of relapse. MAT is always offered in tandem with regular counseling sessions and behavioral therapy.
Bridging the Gap Between Hospital Care & Community-Based Support in Tampa
If you’re transitioning from hospitalization, whether for inpatient care, detox, or other crisis services, stepping down a level of care may feel daunting. With this in mind, the Hospital Bridge program was developed to support individuals in just such situations, taking those crucial steps forward into the unknown.
This initiative serves as a vital link, ensuring clients with behavioral health and addiction issues receive the follow-up care they need to support a sustainable, long-term recovery.
Levels of Care
-
Inpatient
Inpatient and residential programs provide round-the-clock medical and emotional support as you live at the treatment facility. This level of care may be recommended if you have severe addictions or mental health conditions since it removes outside distractions and allows you to focus solely on therapy.
-
Outpatient
In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.
Detox Service Setting
-
Inpatient Detox
Inpatient detox occurs in a dedicated treatment facility. You’ll live there around the clock and receive intensive medical support and supervision to help manage your withdrawal symptoms. It is suitable for individuals with moderate to severe addictions as it ensures a stable detox environment.
-
Outpatient Detox
Outpatient detox gives you access to medically supervised withdrawal services while still allowing you to live at home. You’ll attend a clinic for treatment and monitoring. This flexible option is suitable for those with mild to moderate withdrawal symptoms who have strong support systems.
Programs
-
