Adult & Teen Challenge MidSouth
About Adult & Teen Challenge MidSouth
Adult and Teen Challenge MidSouth is a faith based residential recovery program in Chattanooga, Tennessee, serving men and women ages 18 to 50 struggling with addiction and life controlling issues.
The program offers a comprehensive 12 month Christ centered approach combining Bible study, discipleship, character development, vocational training and holistic care addressing body, mind and spirit. They don’t directly offer detox here but they can connect you with a detox center and welcome you into their program after you’ve finished withdrawal.
Operating since 1978, the program provides long term structured treatment that helps individuals build lasting sobriety and life skills through progressive phases of spiritual and personal growth.
Eight Acre Campus at the Foot of Lookout Mountain
Adult and Teen Challenge MidSouth’s core offering is a 12 month residential program called Journey from Addiction to Freedom, divided into three consecutive 4 month phases called Crossroads, Pursuit and Destination.
The program includes detox services, gender specific living spaces and a holistic curriculum addressing spiritual, emotional, and practical life skills.
Treatment focuses on identifying and replacing harmful patterns through individual mentoring, personal accountability and daily structured activities including Bible study and work ethics training.
Residents live in community on an eight acre campus at the foot of Lookout Mountain, participating in character development, financial stewardship education, employment preparation and rebuilding family relationships.
Vocational Training and Life Skills Development
Beyond addiction treatment, the program integrates vocational training and practical life skills preparation to support long term success after graduation. Participants develop work ethics, financial literacy and employment readiness through hands on training and mentorship from counselors modeling a Christian lifestyle.
