Bridges of America – The Orlando Bridge in Orlando, Florida works with individuals who are involved with the criminal justice system and their families. They foster a culture that raises awareness, helping to bring about a change in the way that people think and live.

Justice Involved Services in Orlando

The Orlando Bridge location provides services to men involved with the Florida Department of Corrections who are in the last 11 months of their sentence. Services include help with finding employment, job readiness, getting identification and obtaining substance use disorder counseling. 

These classes help inmates with probation and child custody issues. The program also offers outpatient therapy and wrap around services to families who are recovering from trauma, including family members who were incarcerated, children placed out of the home, separation, divorce and other stressful life experiences.

Residential Substance Use Treatment

The Orlando Bridge is 136 bed residential program that provides substance abuse treatment built on Therapeutic Community concepts. This is a peer led and driven environment that encourages residents to actively participate in their recovery.

Admission requires a consent form, referral and assessments. The facility also requests criminal history for the residential program and any past psychological or mental health evaluations.
