In addition to the Recovery Response Center, RI also operates the Roxie Center, also in Fayetteville, at 724 Roxie Ave. This center also features detox and stabilization for acute cases.
Fayetteville has just over 208,000 residents and is best known as the home of Fort Liberty, formerly Fort Bragg. It’s one of the world’s largest military installations.
Psychiatric Emergency Services
The Cumberland Recovery Response Center provides mental health and substance abuse disorder treatment. The campus has two units. The Retreat unit has an open concept, providing Tier 4 behavioral health care and features a 23 hour observation unit. This unit serves as a psychiatric emergency room where you can receive immediate crisis intervention and referrals to community resources and services. You may also be referred for inpatient hospitalization or facility based crisis services.
Continuing Care at The Living Room
The Living Room unit offers continuing treatment for up to five days to deliver crisis stabilization services, ensuring that your recovery begins in a safe environment that respects your dignity. The goal is short term stabilization with referral for ongoing care. The Living Room may offer specialized rates as they’re partially covered by Managed Care programs.
The services also include medication assisted treatment (MAT), which is an evidence-based approach to treating addiction that combines FDA cleared buprenorphine, methadone and naltrexone for opioid use disorder and naltrexone, acamprosate and disulfiram for alcohol use disorder. This is teamed with therapy to prevent relapse as you work on building a better future.
