Drug and alcohol detoxification involves a medical evaluation including blood tests to measure the amount of drugs in the body. Then, using medication and psychological therapy, the client is stabilized. The final step of detox is to prepare the client for a treatment program to begin their journey toward sobriety.

During inpatient treatment clients live at the facility, which allows them to give their full attention to recovery. A combination of medical and clinical treatments including therapy, education and medication can be used to help clients maintain a sober lifestyle.

Medication assisted treatment uses a combination of counseling and behavioral therapies with medications. This facility may use buprenorphine, methadone or naltrexone to help treat opioid addiction.
