About Cepta – Closed
CLOSED
Based in Norcross, Georgia, Cepta is a former non-profit that used to provide addiction treatment services to teens and adults. Support extended to LGBTQ+ folks, pregnant and postpartum individuals, court-referred clients, and individuals struggling with concurrent mental health issues, as well as survivors of sexual or domestic abuse.
State-financed health plans like Medicare and Medicaid were accepted, along with private plans, and federal funding. Self-pay was also accepted, with sliding scale fees also an option. This facility is now closed.
Outpatient Drug Detox Services in Gwinnett County
Clients here could have once accessed outpatient detox services, for a flexible start to their sobriety journey. This was often done using medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to facilitate the process, using medications like oral naltrexone, and buprenorphine to help clients manage withdrawal symptoms and cravings.
Inpatient detox services were also available for more severe cases, and for anyone who may have been considered high-risk.
Rehab Services and Therapeutic Approaches
Regular outpatient treatment services were also available here, alongside intensive outpatient programming (IOP) for anyone seeking more structured support. The highest level of outpatient care offered here was partial hospitalization programming (PHP) and day treatment.
Telemedicine was also an option for individuals unable to make regular in-person appointments, and to generally make care more accessible on the whole.
As for some of the therapeutic methods used here to treat substance abuse, clients could expect to engage in styles like motivational interviewing (MI), trauma-related counseling, the Matrix Model, brief intervention, contingency management, motivational incentives, anger management, and relapse prevention sessions.
Further support services provided here included case management, peer support, social skills development sessions, early intervention for HIV, as well as specialized support for survivors of domestic violence.
