Christian Care Center Mens Residence
About Christian Care Center Mens Residence
Christian Care Center Men’s Residence is a men’s only residential alcohol and drug rehabilitative program. You can find them in downtown Leesburg, Florida in a quiet neighborhood.
They have space for 34 men in their barracks-style shared rooms. This is a structured and faith-based program with a set daily schedule and an emphasis on spiritual renewal as the foundation of true recovery.
Four Phases of Treatment
The first phase of treatment is a six-month program that has a similar structure to most residential setups. It involves going to daily life skill classes to learn financial literacy and practice relapse prevention techniques. Throughout this phase of treatment, you’ll learn about the Bible and start to establish lifelong healing from this faith-filled foundation.
During phase two, you’ll have the opportunity to volunteer in one of CCC’s ministries. This portion lasts for six weeks. Phase three focuses on building up resources and financial skills that set you up for life.
You’ll have assistance while seeking employment, paying off debts and ultimately working toward financial independence. The final phase is designed to give men the option to stay involved with CCC for a longer period of time. This creates a buffer between the program and your return to independence, which can be incredibly helpful if you don’t feel ready to leave the accountability and structure of the program yet.
Giving Back to the Community
Something special about this program is that it has several giving back opportunities built into its framework. Every day, the residents work together to prepare food for the homeless people in the surrounding neighborhood. You’ll be able to serve and interact with people from all walks of life, teaching your mind to focus on the people around you.
