The South Portland Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), previously called Discovery House, provides outpatient medical detox and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults in South Portland, Maine. After detox, clients may transition into outpatient treatment at the CTC or be referred to a drug rehab that meets their needs.
Clients in outpatient medical detox do not live at the center but instead live at home or in sober living and visit the center daily for medication and assessment.
