Gateway Behavioral Health Services Crisis Stabilization Program
About Gateway Behavioral Health Services Crisis Stabilization Program
Gateway Behavioral Health Services Crisis Stabilization Program provides ambulatory medical detox and behavioral health services for adolescents and adults in Brunswick, Georgia. This program operates under the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities. They provide medical detox, residential treatment and aftercare support.
Their medical detox services are designed to help clients withdraw from opioids, alcohol and other drugs in a safe, supervised environment. Providers may meet initially with each client to understand their condition and recovery goals, tailoring their treatment to meet the client’s unique needs. As necessary, providers may administer FDA-approved addiction medications to reduce the physical pain of withdrawal, minimize drug cravings and lower the risk of relapse.
Gateway may also provide inpatient services to help clients learn more about their addictions, identify triggers and learn healthy coping and relapse-prevention strategies. These services may include a combination of individual and group counseling, addiction education and life-skills training. Most clients spend an average of six days in inpatient treatment.
Their aftercare program may include resources to help clients reintegrate into society and achieve long-term recovery. This includes connections to community-based programs such as transitional housing, career counseling, educational assistance and related services.
Gateway Behavioral Health Services Crisis Stabilization Program may be in-network with most major insurance providers, including Cigna, Humana, United Healthcare, BlueCross/BlueShield, TRICARE and others. Ask your individual provider to verify your coverage as out of network benefits may vary.
