Outpatient Substance Use and Co-Occurring Disorder Treatment
The Johnson City location is licensed by the Tennessee Department of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services for alcohol and drug non-residential rehabilitation treatment. Health Connect America delivers outpatient (OP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs ranging from 1 to 19 hours per week, tailored to individual need and incorporating case management support.
Treatment integrates cognitive and behavioral approaches to address both substance use and underlying mental health conditions. Sessions focus on stabilization, skill-building and relapse prevention, with a trauma informed framework that recognizes the impact of past experiences on recovery.
Family Centered Treatment and In-Home Support
Health Connect America offers Family Centered Treatment (FCT), a home-based therapy model for families facing behavioral health or substance use crises. FCT clinicians maintain small caseloads of no more than four families, provide 24-hour staff availability and deliver up to six months of stabilization and reunification support designed to prevent out-of-home placement.

Medication assisted treatment combines medication and counseling to manage withdrawal and reduce cravings for opioid and alcohol addiction. Medications may include methadone, buprenorphine or naltrexone. MAT is tailored to your needs so you can actively participate in your treatment journey.
