Hope Harbor Wellness
About Hope Harbor Wellness
Hope Harbor Wellness is a private outpatient addiction and dual diagnosis treatment center in Hiram, Georgia just 30 miles outside of Atlanta. Since 2020, they’ve provided a full continuum of outpatient care for adults, including detox, day treatment, intensive outpatient programs, standard treatment, and aftercare.
They accept most major insurance plans including Aetna, Magellan Health, Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, and TRICARE.
Medication Assisted Treatment
One great thing that caught my eye was their MAT program for opioid and alcohol addiction. They combine behavioral therapies with FDA approved medications, such as Suboxone or Acamprosate.
Medications can ease withdrawal symptoms and cravings while honing in on recovery. They complement care with expert backed approaches including contingency management, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational enhancement in group, family, and individual sessions.
LGBTQ+ Specialized Addiction Treatment
For me, their specialized programs for the LGBTQ+ community really stood out. They offer tailored care from their experienced professionals in every track. You’ll benefit from an inclusive, welcoming environment that accounts for your unique challenges and needs.
Red Light Therapy
An interesting feature that caught my eye was that they offer red light therapy. Red light therapy is a non invasive treatment that uses low wavelength red light to promote healing including cognitive and mood improvement. They provide 10 to 20 minute sessions three times weekly. You’ll benefit from a restorative experience that may support your journey and overall well being.
Wellness and Experiential Therapies
Their wellness and experiential therapies also stood out to me. They offer a holistic treatment experience, integrating activities and interventions to heal your mind, body, and spirit. Adventure therapy, art therapy, wilderness therapy, yoga, music therapy, and more are available. They offer each one to two hour session weekly or biweekly.
