About HUGS Recovery Center Humanity United with God for Society

Humanity United with God for Society provides cost-effective care to adults who are in crisis and with permanent disabilities. They also run HUGS Recovery Center, which is a CARF-accredited substance use treatment facility. One of their HUGS locations is in Atlanta, Georgia. It offers outpatient behavioral health treatment focusing on substance use disorders and addictions for adults.

They don’t accept health insurance of any kind. Only private pay is accepted. They offer some Telehealth and tele-therapy options that can be paid out-of-pocket for as low as $150 per month.

HUGS Recovery Center has a team of Masters’ level clinicians experienced in treating addictive and mental health disorders. I’m happy to see the founder of HUGS recovery centers is both a doctor and a former rehab client.

I appreciate that they offer a free, no obligation consultation so you can decide if this is the right facility for your needs. During this consultation, you will discuss your challenges and learn about the possible solutions, learn about their treatment methods and the steps to get started.

It’s neat that they offer private bedrooms so that you can have some solace to recharge alone whenever you need. Other amenities include fine dining, comfortable accommodations and home-like shared areas. HUGS is a smoke-free facility, but there are limited designated outside areas where smoking is permitted.

Another great feature in my opinion is their family education and support program. It helps family members develop self-care tools for continuing care for their loved one. The cost of this program is included in the client’s treatment.
