Healing in the Mountains

Lake Julian is on the other side. There are also some dine-in restaurants nearby.

Founded by Individuals in Recovery

The center was founded by individuals who are in active recovery. They’re clinicians with over 17 years of experience. Their goal was to create a treatment program that they would also want to be a part of and have included elements that they would want out of a treatment center. Programming has been included that has worked in the founders’ own lives.

Addiction Treatment Differs for Men and Women

With gender specific treatment, men and women are able to receive care that address their specific treatment needs. Men and women metabolize substances differently. There is a physical difference in how men and women manifest their substance use disorder.

Men experience addiction at a higher rate than women. The death rate is also higher in men than for women, as men are more likely to abuse multiple substances at once. Their men’s recovery program will provide you with an opportunity for male camaraderie which will help you thrive.

Women deal with situations that don’t apply to men such as motherhood and past traumas. Their women’s recovery program will provide you with a safe and secure environment to recover, away from men. You will also have access to trauma informed counseling.

Both men and women will be able to receive medication assisted treatment (MAT), if needed. FDA approved medications will be prescribed to help alleviate any withdrawal symptoms. You’ll need to participate in one of their outpatient programs and MAT services are not a standalone service.

They also offer an array of therapies. Your individual treatment plan may include working with horses, cognitive (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), motivational interviews (MI), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).

Levels of Care

  • Inpatient

Inpatient and residential programs provide round-the-clock medical and emotional support as you live at the treatment facility. This level of care may be recommended if you have severe addictions or mental health conditions since it removes outside distractions and allows you to focus solely on therapy.

  • Outpatient

In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.

Detox Service Setting

  • Inpatient Detox

Inpatient detox occurs in a dedicated treatment facility. You’ll live there around the clock and receive intensive medical support and supervision to help manage your withdrawal symptoms. It is suitable for individuals with moderate to severe addictions as it ensures a stable detox environment.

  • Outpatient Detox

Outpatient detox gives you access to medically supervised withdrawal services while still allowing you to live at home. You’ll attend a clinic for treatment and monitoring. This flexible option is suitable for those with mild to moderate withdrawal symptoms who have strong support systems.

Programs

  • Alcohol Detox
