Jacobi Medical Center Chemical Dependency Detox

The Jacobi Medical Center (HHC) Jacobi Amb Care Pavillion OP program provides outpatient chemical dependency treatment for men and woman over the age of 18 years old. Following a full psychiatric and medical evaluation, patients receive intensive alcoholism and other chemical dependency treatment, as well as treatment for any co-occurring psychiatric illness. Patients participate in individual therapy and daily group counseling.

The acute inpatient services at Jacobi Medical Center offer a team approach to care. This includes individual and group treatment such as group therapy, occupational therapy groups, patient education groups, therapeutic recreation, and family meetings. Some of our specialty programs include the psychiatric and substance abuse programs and a three-to-five day detoxification program. Clinical evaluation and crisis intervention is available 24 hours a day for emergencies.
