About Knacks Place
Knacks Place is a structured sober living community in Daytona Beach, Florida, offering transitional recovery housing for men and women overcoming drug addiction and alcoholism. Established in 2018, the program operates six recovery houses with capacity for over 80 residents, providing a safe, drug and alcohol free environment grounded in 12 step principles. Dedicated to the memory of founder Michael J. Kornacki, Knacks Place emphasizes peer support, personal responsibility and accountability to help residents build lasting sobriety.
12 Step Sober Living with Built In Accountability
Knacks Place centers on a 12 step oriented model with structured expectations designed to support ongoing recovery. Residents participate in mandatory 12 step meeting attendance, weekly on-property group accountability meetings and periodic drug testing to maintain a sober, responsible community.
The program features a “phase up” progression that allows residents to advance through internal milestones and graduate to alumni status as they demonstrate growth and stability. This stepwise approach reinforces personal responsibility while offering clear benchmarks for recovery progress, all within a supportive peer environment.
A Multi-House Recovery Community
With six named recovery houses, including dedicated women’s and men’s residences, Knacks Place offers a large scale sober living footprint that fosters fellowship and mutual support. Residents live in shared community settings where “one addict helping another” is a guiding principle, creating an environment where connection and accountability go hand in hand.
