Drug-Free New Life Detoxification Program
The state’s Department of Children and Families licenses Narconon Suncoast for residential treatment and for inpatient detox.
The program offers a Drug-Free Withdrawal program. In this program withdrawals are treated with vitamins, minerals, and nutritious food and a Withdrawal Specialist is assigned to each client.
The program is called New Life Detoxification. In addition to vitamins and minerals, patients exercise in the form of running to “flush out the drug residues” and spend time in a sauna sweating out toxins.
Withdrawals can be life threatening so you should decide if you are ready for a drug free withdrawal program or if a trip to the emergency room should happen before beginning the program.
The program also runs a New Life Detox center with exercise and sauna equipment. Its continuing care program picks up treatment where the residential stay stopped.
Nutritious Meals and Private Suites
Meals come from a full-time chef who cooks them fresh seven days a week and rooms are usually shared with private suites available on request. The center takes private health insurance.
