About New Era Rehabilitation Center Fairchild Wheeler Interdistrict Multi Magnet Campus

Known for its extensive public park system, Bridgeport, Connecticut, is home to New Era Rehabilitation. Since 2002, this comprehensive behavioral health facility has provided specialized outpatient care for adults experiencing opioid use disorder and dual diagnosis. You can participate in intensive and standard outpatient programs and receive medication assisted treatment (MAT).

Medication Assisted Treatment To Prevent Relapse

Their MAT program provides FDA approved medications, including Suboxone, methadone, and buprenorphine. These medications can help you hone in on recovery by alleviating cravings and withdrawal symptoms that come with quitting opioids.

You’ll also participate in proven therapeutic interventions, including group and individual sessions with cognitive behavioral therapy. These approaches can help you understand and change the underlying causes of addiction.

Family and Marriage Counseling

I think it’s great that they offer family and marriage counseling. They understand that addiction affects your loved ones as well.

You and your family can rebuild relationships and strengthen trust with tailored approaches, including family behavior therapy, behavioral couples therapy, recovery support groups, and peer support services.

Therapy To Address Trauma

Another beneficial feature that caught my eye was that they offer trauma counseling. Past traumatic experiences can greatly impact addiction and your receptiveness to treatment. They provide a safe space to heal and overcome these experiences, promoting lasting recovery.

One of the great things about New Era Rehabilitation is they average a rating of 4.1 stars out of five. A reviewer praised the facility stating, “Very patient and loving staff that will work with you to come up with a plan that best works for you!”
