About New Journey SDG

New Journey SDG is an adolescent substance use treatment program in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. They specialize in outpatient services for teens and their families.

As the first outpatient treatment center dedicated to adolescents in the Myrtle Beach area, New Journey SDG provides individual counseling, group therapy and family outpatient services in a supportive youth friendly environment.

Teens begin with a comprehensive medical evaluation and assessment to determine the appropriate level of care. New Journey SDG offers outpatient treatment programs, including outpatient detoxification services and medical management, allowing adolescents to receive care while continuing school and family life.

Treatment includes adolescent group therapy, individual counseling and family outpatient counseling designed to address both substance use and underlying issues such as trauma.

The program’s relational approach encourages teens to engage through activities like ping pong or basketball, creating a comfortable space where young people can open up and participate in their recovery.
