About Operation PAR
Operation PAR is a nonprofit behavioral health organization providing medically supported detox at its Highpoint Campus in Clearwater, Florida.
The program delivers inpatient withdrawal management for alcohol, benzodiazepines, cocaine and methamphetamine, serving young adults and adults of all genders.
With more than 50 years of service to Florida communities, Operation PAR pairs safe stabilization with a clear plan for continued recovery.
Medically Monitored Detox
Operation PAR’s core specialty is medically monitored inpatient detox, delivered in a controlled setting with 24 hour monitoring for patients who meet admission criteria.
The average detox stay runs approximately three to six days, offering a concrete expectation for supervised stabilization.
During detox, care teams safely manage acute withdrawal symptoms and may use anti craving and detox medications as clinically indicated.
Physical health screening, psychosocial assessment and therapy are incorporated throughout, helping address the whole person from the very first step.
Whole Person Transition Planning
Beyond stabilization, staff develop a post detox care plan tailored to each patient’s needs.
This may include referrals to community, educational, legal and social support services, as well as connections to on site medication assisted treatment and care coordination.
Reported approaches include CBT and motivational interviewing, contingency management and relapse prevention planning, 12 step facilitation and the Matrix Model.
