About Passamaquoddy Health Center
Passamaquoddy Health Center in Princeton, Maine provides tribal health care for Passamaquoddy Tribe members and residents of Washington and Hancock Counties who are eligible. Services include outpatient detox for mild to moderate withdrawals, Medication Assisted Treatment for opioid and alcohol use disorders, and individual, group, and family counseling for clients ages three and older.
Outpatient Detox and Therapy
Outpatient services include medically supervised detox for clients with mild to moderate withdrawal symptoms, counseling, and Medication Assisted Treatment. Psychiatric consultation and medication management are available for clients with co-occurring mental health disorders and court ordered DUI/DWI programs serve tribal members referred by the justice system.
Evidence based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma Related Counseling are combined with with culturally informed practices like creative art therapy and nature based healing.
