About Solutions Retreat Inc
Solutions Retreat is one of the leaders in the growing Experiential Recovery field. Your loved-one’s experience while at our facility will have a permanent effect (one day at a time) and he will enjoy the experience. His recovery plan will not be easy but we hear belly laughs at our retreat center from men who have not had more than a chuckle in ten years. We have a saying here: “Laughter is the sound of recovery.” We often say it was the laughter that kept us coming back.
Our clients don’t have time to do much other than process recovery. And due to our intensity, some of this processing takes place on a subconscious level. In addition to meetings at our treatment center, our clients will go to recovery meetings in the Nashville community outside our treatment center. They will attend one-on-one meetings with our staff, our alumni, and selected volunteers.
Additionally, they eat three meals a day together and usually discuss recovery during meals. We have found that this level of intensity and immersion in recovery is very valuable in breaking down these sub-conscious “old ideas” that are running your loved one’s life and ruing your families’ lives.
