About The Berman Center
The Berman Center is an outpatient addiction treatment center in Sandy Springs, Georgia that offers mental health and substance use treatment for adolescents ages 14 to 18 and adults throughout the Atlanta metro area. They are CARF accredited, accept several insurances, and offer financial aid, scholarships, sliding scale, and private pay.
Rooted in Jewish values of community, connection, and healing, The Berman Center welcomes clients of all backgrounds with a spiritually holistic and evidence based approach.
Addiction Programs and Therapies
The Partial Hospitalization Program is a 10 week commitment that includes four weeks for five days per week from 10am to 3:30pm. This is followed by a six week Intensive Outpatient Program while the standalone Intensive Outpatient Program runs eight weeks and meets three days per week with weekly individual therapy and family support groups.
Clients engage in daily group sessions and evidence based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and trauma focused care. Holistic therapies include yoga, art therapy, and mindfulness. They offer Jewish spiritual programming that is inclusive of all faiths.
Detox and Special Programs
The IGNITE Program for adolescents integrates academic support with clinical care. Dual diagnosis treatment addresses co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders with on site psychiatric care, detox options, and medication management. The TRIBE alumni program has bi-weekly meetings, process groups, and community activities.
Amenities include a gym, yoga studio, outdoor courtyard, recreation room with ping pong and massage chair, and catered meals with a registered dietician.
