About Archstone Behavioral Health
Archstone Behavioral Health is one of the longest running treatment centers in Florida and have provided a full continuum of care, including medical detox, since 2001. You can access comprehensive addiction and dual diagnosis treatment to meet you at any recovery stage. You’ll find them in Lantana in Florida. It’s just 11 miles south of West Palm Beach.
Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)
One great feature I noticed was that they have MAT. This approach combines FDA approved medication with behavioral therapies to help you get to the root of addiction.
Medications can alleviate cravings and withdrawal symptoms that can disrupt recovery. You’ll benefit from a whole person approach to recognize and change the behaviors contributing to substance abuse.
Kosher Recovery Program
What stands out most to me is their Kosher recovery track. This program provides tailored and culturally competent care for members of the Jewish community. You can access ongoing support from clinicians who deeply understand the Jewish family system.
You’ll work through challenges like religious trauma, family enmeshment, and shame paradigms. They also incorporate religion and spirituality into your journey if desired. Group and individual sessions as well as life skills training and relapse prevention training are available.
Trauma Informed Care
Another great feature I noticed was that their trauma informed therapy. They understand that past overwhelming experiences can impact addiction and your receptiveness to care.
You’ll participate in evaluations and consultations to understand how trauma affects you and the best approach to treatment. They provide psychotherapy with cognitive (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to help you overcome these issues.
I also like that they have an alumni program. You can stay active and connected in recovery with alumni events, celebrations, reunions, and weekly onsite alumni meetings.

Levels of Care
-
Outpatient
In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.
-
PHP
Partial hospitalization programs provide comprehensive treatment in a structured setting during the day but allow you to return home at night. These programs offer a balance of inpatient and outpatient rehab and provide intensive support without full time residency.
-
Inpatient
Inpatient and residential programs provide round-the-clock medical and emotional support as you live at the treatment facility. This level of care may be recommended if you have severe addictions or mental health conditions since it removes outside distractions and allows you to focus solely on therapy.
Detox Service Setting
-
Outpatient Detox
Outpatient detox gives you access to medically supervised withdrawal services while still allowing you to live at home. You’ll attend a clinic for treatment and monitoring. This flexible option is suitable for those with mild to moderate withdrawal symptoms who have strong support systems.
-
MAT
Medication assisted treatment combines medication and counseling to manage withdrawal and reduce cravings for opioid and alcohol addiction. Medications may include methadone, buprenorphine or naltrexone. MAT is tailored to your needs so you can actively participate in your treatment journey.
-
Inpatient Detox
Inpatient detox occurs in a dedicated treatment facility. You’ll live there around the clock and receive intensive medical support and supervision to help manage your withdrawal symptoms. It is suitable for individuals with moderate to severe addictions as it ensures a stable detox environment.
