Wellington Retreat Inc – Closed

Formerly based in West Palm Beach, Florida, Wellington Retreat is a now-defunct drug rehab facility that provided treatment to teens and adults, including pregnant women. It was by the Mounts Botanical Garden. 

Various private insurance plans were accepted, along with state-based program coverage like Medicaid, military plans like TRICARE and self-pay options.

A Detox Center & Inpatient Drug Rehab

Clients could begin their recovery journeys safely with medically assisted detox services. This consisted of supervised detox along with medical support to help individuals manage their withdrawal symptoms and cravings while lessening their chance of future relapse.

Following this stage, many clients shifted to the residential program for 24/7 support and supervision within a structured recovery environment.

The facility featured private rooms, allowing extra personal space to those who needed it. Meanwhile, there was a gym where residents could keep up their fitness routine while in recovery. A recreation room was also available to encourage leisure and social bonding activities, along with a meditation room that was a sanctuary for mindfulness and relaxation practices.

Physician-Led Care & Outpatient Addiction Treatment

Formerly directed by a neuropsychiatrist and addictionologist, the facility spearheaded physician-led, personalized care from admission all the way through to discharge. Care ensured clients were treated for addiction as well as concurrent neuropsychiatric disorders. Former clients praised this care model, expressing gratitude for its comprehensive approach.

Outpatient options included flexible partial hospitalization programming (PHP), intensive outpatient programming (IOP) and regular outpatient support.
