Bradford Health Services
About Bradford Health Services
Bradford Health Services is an addiction treatment network in Knoxville, Tennessee. Established in 1977, they provide over 28 programs nationwide for youth and adults. You can access intensive outpatient programs at their Knoxville locations. Detox is available at two locations within their Tennessee network.
They work with most major health insurance plans, including TennCare. If you don’t have insurance, they offer flexible payment plans.
Tailored Care for Special Populations
A great feature I noticed is that they provide targeted care for special populations. While they welcome anyone in need of treatment, certain populations can access tailored programs. Young adults, Veterans, professionals, individuals battling chronic pain, and more can participate in targeted care. They also have a spirituality track if you want to incorporate faith into your healing journey.
Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) in Knoxville
You can access MAT for alcohol or opioid addiction to achieve your recovery goals. They combine FDA-approved Suboxone or Vivitrol with behavioral health interventions. Medications can ease withdrawal symptoms and reduce the chances of relapse.
You’ll also participate in counseling to understand and overcome the contributing factors of addiction. You can visit their clinic or participate in a telehealth appointment to begin the process.
Support Your Entire Family
I also like their emphasis on family support. They help educate your family about the dangers and causes of substance abuse as well as how treatment is beneficial. You and your loved ones can participate in counseling to develop coping skills. They also offer up to two years of ongoing support in their continuing care program. You and your family will benefit from gaining the tools to support each other throughout your journey.
