Centennial Mental Health Center is a community based addiction treatment center and mental health provider in Yuma, Colorado offering comprehensive behavioral health services to individuals and families throughout northeastern Colorado.
This nonprofit organization delivers outpatient substance use and mental health treatment, intensive outpatient programming, medication assisted treatment and around the clock crisis intervention for children and adolescents, adults and older adults. For over 40 years, Centennial Mental Health Center has provided evidence based, culturally responsive care tailored to the unique needs of rural and frontier communities.
Outpatient Treatment
Clients can access outpatient services including traditional therapy, intensive outpatient programs and medication assisted treatment with buprenorphine and naltrexone. Treatment begins with an assessment to determine the appropriate level of care, whether that means weekly individual counseling, structured group programming or crisis stabilization for urgent needs.
Programs incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy skills, motivational interviewing and trauma counseling, EMDR and 12 step facilitation to address both substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
Clients also benefit from case management, family therapy and relapse prevention planning, medication management and peer specialist support throughout their recovery journey.
