Health Solutions West, formerly called Colorado West Mental Health, is a nonprofit behavioral health and addiction treatment provider serving Colorado’s Western Slope with a full continuum of care for mental health and cooccurring substance use disorders.

The organization offers outpatient therapy, residential treatment, medically managed withdrawal management, psychiatric services and 24/7 crisis response for individuals of all ages.

Founded in 1972, Health Solutions West provides evidence based, trauma informed care across 10 counties and over 23,000 square miles, ensuring that Western Colorado communities have access to comprehensive recovery support.

Residential Rehab and Medically Managed Detox

Health Solutions West specializes in treating cooccurring mental health and substance use disorders with seamless transitions between levels of care. The Grand Junction campus provides outpatient therapy, psychiatric evaluations, medication management, residential programs, and medically managed detox services all under one organization.

Treatment combines individual, group, and family therapy with Medication Assisted Treatment using Suboxone for opioid use disorder.

Family Centered Recovery for Women and Children

The Women’s Recovery Center offers a unique residential program where mothers can remain with their children during treatment, preventing foster care placement while supporting family healing.

The facility features family bedrooms and a well-stocked playroom, allowing women to focus on recovery while maintaining parent child bonds in a supportive environment.
