Day At A Time Club
About Day At A Time Club
Day At A Time Club is a nonprofit Alano club and recovery meeting space in Lakewood, Colorado, serving individuals seeking peer support for substance use and related challenges. The club hosts over 60 12 Step meetings each week for fellowships including Alcoholics Anonymous, Al Anon, Cocaine Anonymous, Crystal Meth Anonymous, Co Dependency and others.
Recovery Meetings and Support at Day At A Time Club
They have operated for 39 years as a community supported space, providing a safe, judgment free environment for anyone at any stage of recovery. However, they do not provide detox or medication assisted treatment. They can offer a referral to a local facility for care.
Day At A Time Club is not a treatment center and does not provide clinical therapy or counseling. Instead, it offers free meeting space where autonomous 12 Step groups gather daily to share experiences, work with sponsors and support one another in recovery from addiction and co occurring issues.
Meetings Focus on Recovery Tools and Shared Experiences
Meetings typically last about an hour and focus on specific recovery tools, steps or shared experiences. Attendees can simply listen or participate as they feel comfortable, with no sign up required and no pressure to speak. The club welcomes adults and young adults who are brand new to recovery, returning after a break or curious about what a sober lifestyle might look like.
It is free to attend the meeting, which are available 7 days a week from 9:30am to 9:00pm with meeting rooms available in multiple sizes. No appointment or intake is needed. Simply check the schedule on their website or call for meeting times, then stop by during operating hours.
