About Foundations 4 life
Foundations 4 Life is an outpatient addiction treatment center in Grand Junction, Colorado, serving adults, adolescents and families recovering from substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Founded by Aaron Jimenez, M.A., a Licensed Addiction Counselor, the center offers individualized outpatient treatment, intensive outpatient programs (IOP) and specialized DUI education tracks for both voluntary and court mandated clients.
Addiction Treatment Programs at Foundations 4 Life
The treatment philosophy focuses on helping individuals understand their addiction, develop coping skills and navigate life changes through evidence based and trauma informed approaches. Although they don’t offer detox or MAT, they can provide you with a referral to a local community resource.
Clients begin with a comprehensive substance abuse assessment to determine the appropriate level of care, whether that is intensive outpatient programming or regular outpatient services. The center also provides Level I and Level II DUI Education and Treatment with multiple tracks (A, B, C and D) tailored to meet individual and court requirements.
Evidence Based Programs, Including Dual Diagnosis
Treatment includes individual counseling, group counseling, couples therapy and family counseling, using modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), Motivational interviewing and trauma related counseling. The program addresses the needs of adolescents, adults, seniors, veterans, LGBT clients, pregnant and postpartum women and criminal justice populations.
Foundations 4 Life addresses dual diagnosis by treating co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders together, with specialized programs like Seeking Safety for PTSD and relapse prevention planning to support long term recovery.
