About Front Range Clinic

Front Range Clinic is part of Porch Light Health, and they have locations throughout Mexico and Colorado, including the clinic on Blake Street in Denver, Colorado. This is an outpatient clinic with substance use and mental health disorder treatment programs. They have an outpatient medically supervised withdrawal program and medically assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid withdrawal.

The programs treat teens, adults, and seniors and accept insurance from many major providers. They also take Medicaid and Medicare. If you’re unable to pay, they offer services on a sliding scale based on your income and the size of your family.

The center caters to the unique challenges of specific communities. They have tracks for first responders, Veterans, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ clients. If you’re looking for detox, they offer ambulatory medically supervised withdrawal services (AMSWS). In the AMSWS program, you’ll detox from home but you’ll have medical supervision for safe withdrawal.

With outpatient detox, you’ll have help managing withdrawal symptoms while still being able to work and take care of family responsibilities. If you don’t have severe substance dependence, this program may be a good fit for you. Mild to moderate symptoms can be safely managed at home, but it also depends on your home environment.

AMSWS works for withdrawing from alcohol, opioids, and many other drugs as well. You can get supportive MAT medications at the outpatient clinic while comfortably living at home. If you choose this program, it’s important to have a strong support network at home. After you’ve finished detoxing, you’ll have ongoing support through counseling and support groups. This can include connecting you to resources like the Denver Rescue Mission or the Colorado Health Network if you need additional social services.

Detox is only the first step in any drug treatment rehab program. You need to address the mental health issues that caused substance use. For many people, there are co-occurring mental health issues such as anxiety or depression. Your treatment team gives you the guidance and resources you need to continue on your sober journey.
