About Gateway Behavioral Health Services

Gateway Behavioral Health Services, located in Brunswick, Georgia, provides mental illness, developmental disability, and drug rehab treatment for children, youth and adults in Glynn County.

They provide individual, group, and family counseling, psychiatric evaluations, inpatient detox, residential treatment, intensive outpatient, housing assistance and job coaching.

Inpatient detox is the safest way for individuals to rid their bodies of toxic substances. Patients are under the care of medical professionals 24/7. They will be carefully monitored and treated to make the process of withdrawal as comfortable as possible. This may include the administration of certain medications to ease symptoms and improve health outcomes.

In addition to medical supervision, clients will be given access to individual and group therapy and an introduction to peer based support networks. After detox, patients generally step down into residential or outpatient treatment to continue their recovery.

Gateway Behavioral Health Services accepts private pay, Medicaid, medicare, military insurance and private insurance. Contact your provider to confirm coverage as out of network benefits may vary. Income-based payment assistance on a sliding scale is available.
