About Gaudenzia Inc. Concept 90

The state’s capital, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, is home to Gaudenzia Inc. Concept 90. As part of one of the largest nonprofit addiction and dual diagnosis treatment providers in the northeast, they’ve provided comprehensive services since 1968. This location offers a long term residential program for adults battling substance abuse in Dauphin County.

You’ll benefit from a high intensity program with proven therapeutic interventions, including group and individual counseling as well as medication assisted treatment. They accept Medicaid and some private insurers. If you’re uninsured, they can also offer funding assistance based on eligibility.

Gender Responsive Care

What stands out most to me is their emphasis on gender responsive care. You can access specialized services that address the unique impact gender can have on addiction. You’ll benefit from a supportive, comfortable environment where you can share your experiences, connect with peers and get the help you need.

Trauma Informed and Culturally Competent Services

Another great feature I noticed was their dedication to trauma and culturally informed services. Your past experiences and background can greatly influence your receptiveness to treatment and the best approaches for your situation. You can access customized care that accounts for traumatic experiences while celebrating your cultural values and traditions.

Medication Assisted Treatment

I also think it’s great that you can access medication assisted treatment (MAT). They provide induction and maintenance on various types of buprenorphine, Vivitrol and naloxone. You can also access connections to methadone maintenance at each level of care. This approach can help you manage the physical symptoms of quitting substances so you can focus solely on recovery.
