Hartford Dispensary provides a continuum of behavioral healthcare services to help individuals struggling with substance abuse or psychiatric illness. Counselors work with each patient to develop an individualized recovery plan which is based on the unique strengths, needs, abilities and preferences of each person served.
For methadone treatment, applicants must be 18 years old, with at least one year of opioid/opiate dependence history, and be prepared to provide a urine sample at time of initial assessment. The clinic physician makes the final determination to accept a patient into methadone treatment.
For other forms of substance abuse or mental health treatment, an initial assessment will be completed and appropriate level of care will be identified and established as applicable.
