About Naaman Center Elizabethtown

Naaman Center was born in 1990 from a vision of healing and faith. They first opened their doors in the Pennsylvania city of Elizabethtown as a clinic for substance use and co-occurring disorders. They’ve since grown to six locations, offering inpatient detox to outpatient treatment.

Inspired by the biblical figure Naaman, the Center’s mission is to deliver evidence-based care in a Christian and faith-driven environment filled with compassion by helping adults and adolescents aged between 14 and 17 to embrace recovery.

Naaman Center Elizabethtown is situated northwest of Elizabethtown Community Park and four miles west of the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. This facility delivers general and intensive outpatient (IOP) support alongside medication assisted treatment (MAT).

Clients with severe substance use or co-occurring conditions may be referred to Naaman Center Rehrersburg for detox and full recovery support. Detox at this clinic includes MAT for a more comfortable withdrawal alongside pastoral support, regular check-ins and prayer.

Flexible, Integrated Support for Healing

Outpatient recovery at Naaman Center Elizabethtown guides you toward a supportive journey of whole-person healing through integrated and flexible care. A thorough intake assessment helps the care team determine if OP and IOP are suitable for you. Both have flexible morning and evening sessions to enable you to maintain jobs and home responsibilities.

IOP offers structured support encompassing therapy sessions and substance use education alongside 12 Steps. This focuses on addressing triggers to build effective strategies to prevent relapse. Your care team may prescribe MAT.

Specialized therapeutic support is offered to adolescents and youth. Emphasis is on managing self-esteem issues, peer pressure and building coping mechanisms that foster personal growth.

Their wraparound services include assistance with finding a stable job and accommodation to ensure stability. They can also help you navigate the criminal justice system including meeting probation requirements.

Levels of Care

  • Outpatient

  • Aftercare

Aftercare programs provide ongoing support after you complete a rehab program. They may include several components to help you maintain sobriety including therapy, community support groups and relapse prevention strategies. This gives you a network of resources as you reintegrate into your daily life.

  • Dual Diagnosis

Dual diagnosis programs address substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions simultaneously. This integrated approach to care improves the likelihood of long term recovery and stability by addressing the root causes of addiction.

Detox Service Setting

  • Outpatient Detox
