About NET Steps

You’ll find NET Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They provide comprehensive outpatient services for individuals aged three and older. You can access substance abuse and dual diagnosis treatment to start or continue your recovery journey.

As a Certified Community Behavioral Health Center, they strive to provide affordable services regardless of your financial status. They accept Medicaid and most major insurance plans. You may also be eligible for a sliding scale fee if you don’t have insurance.

Treatment With Safe Medications

One great feature I noticed is that they offer medication assisted treatment (MAT). With MAT,  you can address the emotional and physical aspects of quitting substances at the same time. They prescribe FDA approved medications, such as buprenorphine and naltrexone. These medicines can help ease withdrawal symptoms and cravings while you focus on recovery.

They complement care with behavioral interventions, including group, individual and family therapy. You’ll learn to change your behaviors and gain essential coping skills for sustained recovery. Peer support services, care coordination and case management are also available.

Tailored Care for Veterans

Another thing that stood out to me is that they provide targeted care for Veterans. You can access proven approaches to overcome challenges like trauma, loss and grief. You’ll benefit from ongoing support from professionals who understand the military lifestyle.

Their facility is located in the Northern Liberties neighborhood. You can explore a community centered environment as well as green spaces for healing and reflection. You can also easily access SEPTA transit stations to get to treatment and other community resources.
