About New Beginnings Recovery Center

If you’re in the Littleton, Colorado area, and you’re looking for a nonprofit substance use and dual diagnosis treatment program with detox, you might consider the New Beginnings Recovery Center. The center has a comprehensive treatment program for substance use and co-occurring disorders and is accredited by The Joint Commission. Detox is part of the extended care program, and they accept insurance, including Medicaid.

The center offers a range of residential treatment durations tailored to your individual needs. For detox, you’ll be in a comprehensive recovery program. The detox program is not, however, a medical detox but they do offer medication assisted treatment (MAT) with Vivitrol for alcohol and opioid withdrawal. You’ll also work on identifying and treating any co-occurring mental health disorders during your time in the program. Co occurring disorders include mental health issues such as bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depression, or anxiety.

The center offers a holistic focus with detox therapies such as BioMat infrared therapy. The mat is an FDA approved device that uses negative ions and FAR infrared rays to detoxify your body at the cellular level. It also helps restore balance and energy while aiding in the regulation of the endocrine, lymphatic, nervous, and immune systems.

They also offer low energy neurofeedback (LENS) treatment. This helps you regain optimal brain function and heal from many conditions. A few of the conditions LENS helps include addiction, depression, anxiety, migraines, chronic pain, and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Vibroacoustic therapy (VAT) is another treatment they use at the center. VAT uses sound frequencies to produce vibrations. The vibrations are applied to the body and help reduce insomnia, anxiety, pain, and stress. VAT also helps balance the mind and body, boost vitality, and increase clarity.

The programs include education, psychotherapy, exercise, nutrition, and massage therapies. When you’re through detox and the inpatient program, you can transition to the intensive outpatient treatment program (IOP). They also have sober living and extended care living arrangements.
