This 231-bed multigenerational behavioral health treatment facility provides specialized residential care for women and older adults aged 55 and older. You’ll benefit from intensive substance abuse services, including medication assisted treatment (MAT). It’s based on Wards Island in New York City, New York.
Signing Up for Medication Assisted Treatment
One great feature I noticed was their MAT program. They prescribe FDA approved medications, such as buprenorphine or naltrexone, to manage withdrawal symptoms and cravings.
They complement care with behavioral therapies, community based services, monitoring, and recovery support. Weekly counseling, medical services, and peer support are available. They also connect you to outpatient treatment or their Recovery Center to continue your journey.
